Job Responsibility:

Green Theory Design is a specialty manufacturing company that fabricates custom outdoor and indoor site furnishings, focusing on planters and rooftop modular designs. We are a fast growing company that is constantly looking for recent ways to continue be the Canadian leader in custom planter site furnishings.

We are currently hiring a Solidworks Engineer to join our team in Port Coquitlam , BC.

Skills and Abilities Needed:

- Ability to program machining process in the Amada Suite (Fibrelaser & Brake)
- Candidate should be able to take a conceptual drawing or vision of a component and turn it into a full 3D model in SolidWorks Sheet Metal. Including doing take offs of architectural drawings
- Candidate should be able to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic and reliability

Qualifications:

- Proficient in 2D and 3D Modeling in SolidWorks Sheet Metal
- Knowledge of Machining, Metal Fabrication, and Manufacturing Processes
- Firm understanding of sheet metal fabrication and be able to come up with innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges
- 2+ Years of Experience




- Be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Willing to expand and learn new skills
- Must be willing to work in a shop environment

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all fabrication, engineering and design
- Work with our Estimators/Project Managers to come up with best way to produce product
- Able to design products to be made efficiently while considering sheet utilization
- Other responsibilities will be assigned as needed
