About the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Geological Engineering, the Senior Engineer, Geotechnical is responsible for:

- Supporting safe operations at EVR’s four operating sites in the Elk Valley area of southeastern British Columbia,
- Supporting the investigation, design and permitting for potential future mining areas, and
- Collaborating with colleagues in EVR’s central Technical Services department and at the operating sites on initiatives to continuously improve EVR’s geotechnical practices.

This role is an opportunity to make an impact across multiple operating sites and project teams, and it offers a development path towards becoming a centrally based, geotechnical subject matter expert within EVR’s geotechnical community of practice
