Job Opportunity: Custom Trade Show Exhibit Builder

We are currently seeking an experienced Exhibit Builder to join our growing team of professionals in the trade show and events industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in custom millwork and hands-on experience building trade show booths using a mix of wood materials and aluminum profile systems .

This role requires a deep understanding of exhibit construction techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. You will be part of a team that delivers custom exhibits from concept to completion for events across North America and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and assemble custom trade show exhibits and display components, including wood cabinetry, wall panels, counters, and branded elements.
- Integrate aluminum extrusion systems (e.g., BeMatrix, Octanorm, or similar) with millwork components.
- Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints for exhibit fabrication and in office installation.
- Prepare, load, and install exhibits on-site at convention centers, adhering to event schedules and safety protocols.
- Perform finishing tasks such as laminating, caulking, and edge banding.
- Conduct repairs or modifications to existing booth components as needed.
- Work closely with project managers, designers,



and other builders to ensure accurate execution of client vision.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good working condition and ensure safety at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 5+ years experience in the trade show exhibit or custom cabinetry/millwork industry.
- Strong carpentry and fabrication skills, including exhibit framing, laminating, and finish work.
- Familiarity with aluminum profile systems and modular exhibit components.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools , and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and booth components safely.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight turnaround times.
- Knowledge of installation/dismantle processes at major convention centers is a robust asset.
- Willingness to travel for installations when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
