As a Healthcare Security Guard with Paladin Security, you will play a vital role in keeping patients, staff, and visitors safe within a medical facility. Pay Rate: $22.45 per hour Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance benefits Paid vacation time Fully paid training programs (including Basic Security Training) Success in this role means maintaining a consistent, alert, and reassuring presence throughout rotating 12-hour shifts (0700–1900 or 1900–0700). Support clinical teams by monitoring patient safety and communicating any changes to nursing and security staff. Respond promptly to facility alarms, emergency assistance calls, and agile security events. Identify safety hazards, such as unlocked doors, mechanical issues, or blocked exits, and report them promptly. Build trusted,



respectful relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and visitors. Master facility protocols and non-defensive communication strategies in complex situations. A High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle. The physical stamina to walk 18 to 20 kilometers throughout a shift. Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Basic computer skills for writing electronic logs. The following assets are helpful, but not required (we will train qualified candidates): A valid Security Guard License / Basic Security Training (BST) course completion. Prior experience in security, customer service, or healthcare environments.
