ONNI Group is seeking an experienced Director of Commercial Property Management to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties across British Columbia. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Commercial Property Management for Canada, this is an exciting prospect for a talented professional to join the Property Management team in Vancouver. The Property Management department’s primary objective is to serve the tenants within the Canadian Commercial Portfolio,



delivered through a variety of avenues, including building and site maintenance and performance. Manage day-to-day operations for an assigned portfolio of commercial properties. Develop strong relationships with your subordinates, tenants, contractors, stratas, and vendors. Manage and provide direction to staff, which may include, but is not limited to, administrators, property managers, and site staff. Conduct site visits with property managers and site staff. Review leases, licenses, contracts, and agreements as required. Review and ensure that all building and site maintenance is in accordance with the Company’s standard. When needed, assist and help manage tenant improvements. Manage the annual budgeting process for the portfolio. Work closely with the Accounting, Development, Leasing, and Construction teams on various projects. A/R collection duties as required, and assist with capital projects and capital planning. Minimum of 5 years of progressive commercial real estate experience working directly for a landlord or third-party management company. Must be technology/computer proficient. Good understanding of both the operational and financial aspects of commercial property management. Positive understanding of building systems and overall construction. Experience with diverse asset classes (office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and air space parcels) is a benefit. Must be willing to travel in and out of province if required.
