Production Employees

Production Employees are the backbone of our mills. They make sure we produce products safely and efficiently, creating the materials that build homes and dreams. No experience? We start you in a general labour role and provide you with all training needed to succeed.

We’re looking for Production Employees to join our Heffley Creek Division, located in Kamloops, British Columbia. With approximately 215 employees, Heffley Creek produces plywood and veneer products, safely and sustainably while producing approximately 180 million square feet of plywood and 28 million square feet of veneer per year for customers around the world.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to working safely.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation to site, as the work location is not accessible by transit.
- Previous experience in a forest products industry considered an asset.

In this role you will:





- Work independently as part of a team dedicated to safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
- Perform a variety of labour and production duties around the mill supporting the production of our plywood products.
- Do general clean‑up activities such as sweeping, keeping equipment clean, etc.
- Stand long periods of time, frequently twist and bend while working on the production line.
- Work indoors but may be exposed to both hot and cold temperatures from time to time.
- Work on one of the following rotating shifts that changes every two weeks: day shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm), evening shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am), graveyard shift (12:00 pm to 7:00 am).
