Manufacturing cost accounting and financial reporting define this full-time, permanent Senior Accountant role with OMEX Agriculture Inc. in Oak Bluff, Manitoba.

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller supports a growing Canadian fertilizer manufacturer. The position covers inventory management, budgeting, internal controls, and business systems support. It also contributes to operational and financial decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support month-end, year-end, and financial reporting processes
- Maintain manufacturing cost accounting and inventory valuation
- Prepare reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and management reports
- Coordinate audits, insurance renewals,



and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with production teams to improve performance

Requirements:

- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Solid cost accounting and inventory controls understanding
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI is an asset
