Lead Christmas Kettle operations with The Salvation Army, supervising volunteers, securing donations, and supporting locations across a designated geographical zone.

This seasonal Area Team Lead contract oversees several Kettle sites in malls, grocery stores, and retail outlets. The position coordinates volunteer assignments, communicates daily issues, and supports the Christmas Kettle Campaign. Evening shifts are involved, with 40 hours weekly through December 24, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Kettle delivery before volunteers arrive
- Supervise and assign Kettle Volunteers throughout Campaign operations
- Secure donations at shift completion and during shifts
- Visit locations during shift changes and intermittently
- Submit accurate weekly timesheets and mileage reports

Requirements:

- Minimum one year related or customer service experience
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory Background Check and Driver’s Abstract
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 9 to 12 kilograms
