The Underground Mine Technician supports construction, commissioning, and operation of a new room-and-pillar limestone mine. Responsibilities span survey control, development surveys, production surveys, mapping, and operational records. The role also supports ventilation monitoring, ground control, quality sampling, and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct underground and surface surveys, mapping, and stockpile measurements Maintain mine plans, drawings, maps, and technical databases Collect and verify survey, geological, and production data Operate total stations, GPS systems, scanners,



and technical equipment Prepare operational reports and performance metrics

Requirements:
Diploma or degree in mining, geological technology, surveying, or geomatics Minimum two years of related mining, construction, or technical experience Field survey and technical data collection experience Microsoft Office and technical software proficiency Relocation to Cadomin, Hinton, or surrounding area required Support accurate mine data, surveying, mapping, and operational readiness for Heidelberg Materials’ underground limestone operation.
