Our Client in Burlington, (Walkers Line and QEW) is a leader in the manufacturing & distribution of Expanded Metal Products throughout North America. They are currently seeking to hire multiple candidates for both the day and afternoon shifts.
Job Description:
- Helping the machine operator with Brake press, stamping steel parts
- Feed steel blanks through the steel expander
- Cut expanded steel with the shear machine
- Flatten expanded steel with the flattening mill
- May be required to operate a punch press, brake press or saw
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs (Team lifts of large pieces of steel)
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift - Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
- Afternoon Shift- Monday to Thursday from 3pm-1am (4 days/week, 10HR shifts)
Required Qualifications:
- Not bus accessible, own vehicle is required
- Experience with machine operation is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
- Clean criminal background
- Must have 1 year experience as a general laborer
- Must have 2 references from most recent employers
