Provide person-centered nursing care at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere as a Licensed Practical Nurse with clinical assessment expertise. This regular part-time role is 0.40 FTE.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the experienced LPN provides planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care. You will support clinical assessments, care plans, documentation, medication administration, and treatment administration. The role also involves interdisciplinary teamwork, resident transitions, and care conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct resident care using a person-centered approach
- Complete clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation
- Evaluate care effectiveness and update plans as required
- Administer medications and treatments according to standards
- Facilitate resident moves, transfers, and care conferences
Requirements:
- Practical Nurse Diploma
- Current provincial registration and membership in valuable standing
- Three or more years of seniors' health experience
- Current CPR training
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
