The Personal Support Worker provides care according to resident care plans and helps identify resident needs. You will monitor care, document information, and support a safe, secure workplace. The position also includes staff education, meetings, workshops, and directed onboarding support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide resident care according to established care plans
- Observe residents and report findings to the immediate supervisor
- Document resident care information as directed
- Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
- Follow infection prevention and control policies

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
- Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
- Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
- Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
- Know bedside care, sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
