The Operations Supervisor manages day-to-day sort activities and assigned Cargo Handlers within a station. You will guide proper routing, recover potential service failures, and support the Safety Above All Culture. The position includes mentoring, coaching, training, and administrative compliance with FedEx Express policies, procedures, and government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day sort operations within the station
- Lead proper package handling and routing activities
- Recover potential service failures during station sorting
- Mentor, coach,
and train Cargo Handler employees
- Ensure administrative processes follow required policies and regulations
Requirements:
- College degree
- Two years FedEx sort operations or senior hourly experience
- Two years supervisory experience in a related industry
- Valid driver’s license and positive driving record
- Ability to lift seventy pounds and maneuver heavier packages
