Class 1 Tanker Driver

ANDY Transport is currently seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our Tanker Division. In this role, the driver will be responsible for the secure and timely transportation of dangerous goods (DG) on a dedicated lane between Beauharnois, QC and Mississauga, ON.

Job Description

- Safely operate 4-axle Power Only tankers transporting dangerous goods.
- Complete pickups and deliveries safely and on time, in accordance with applicable receiving hours.
- Complete more than five loads per week per truck.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and equipment are safe and compliant with applicable standards.
- Maintain all required documentation, including driver logs, delivery documents, and inspection reports.
- Comply with all applicable transportation laws and regulations, including Hours of Service and Dangerous Goods requirements.
- Promptly report any mechanical defects, accidents, incidents, or vehicle, cargo, or delivery concerns to the appropriate supervisor.




- Maintain a professional attitude and provide courteous and safe service to customers and the public.

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 12 months of experience
- Driving Record issued within the last 3 months
- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
