Tolko seeks a Red Seal Electrician for its largest sawmill in High Level, Alberta. This role applies electrical expertise across preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, motors, hydraulic motion controls, optimizers, and encoders. You will also support maintenance projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot electrical issues using PLC and HMI knowledge
- Develop safe, reliable fixes for equipment problems
- Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades
- Work with motors, controls, optimizers, and encoders
- Improve equipment reliability through innovative solutions

Requirements:

- Valid Interprovincial electrician ticket
- Robust diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Experience with CMMS, preferably JD Edwards
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
