Build accounting expertise with MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team as a part time Intern supporting financial reporting and client service. Apply bookkeeping, audit, and tax skills while developing professional experience.

This Intern opportunity supports MNP’s Canadian accounting, tax, and business advisory practice. You will develop technical skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax while applying IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge. The work supports clients’ financial information and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up files for new clients and businesses
- Manage multiple files and conduct inventory counts
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and client summaries
- Review financial entries, evidence, and discrepancies
- Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts

Requirements:

- Working toward a commerce or business administration bachelor’s degree
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- Working toward CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites
- Accounting office experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset

Develop audit, bookkeeping, tax, and financial reporting capabilities while supporting MNP clients through Assurance & Accounting work.
