Structural analysis and design await an Engineering Intern with Stantec Buildings in Victoria, British Columbia, working fully on-site during winter 2027.

This structural engineering internship supports Stantec’s Vancouver Buildings group for a four- or eight-month term beginning January 2027. You will work alongside experienced practitioners on industrial structures, including transit maintenance centres, chemical storage, shipyards, and government facilities. The experience includes analysis, design, reports, and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist analysis and design for multiple structure types
- Support industrial structure projects across wide-ranging facilities
- Contribute to report writing and related documents





Requirements:

- Complete third year of an accredited Bachelor’s Civil Engineering program
- Focus studies on Structural Engineering
- Show competency and interest in structural analysis software
- Demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Bring communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
