Randstad Canada seeks a hands-on Senior Accountant with at least five years of progressive experience. You will manage month-end close, financial statements, inventory valuation, cost accounting, and statutory remittances. The position supports comprehensive accounting operations at a growing manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own general ledger close, journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, cash flow analyses, and variance reports
- Lead inventory accounting for materials, WIP, finished goods, and scrap
- Verify product costing and perform product-line margin analysis
- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, benefits, and statutory filings
Requirements:
- Five years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience
- Two years in manufacturing or distribution accounting
- Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree or diploma
- Experience preparing financial statements and owning month-end close
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Brantford
