Protect passengers and employees as a Marine Security Guard at Securiguard’s Langdale Ferry Terminal in British Columbia. Provide visible security and customer service.

Securiguard seeks experienced, dependable Security Professionals for casual, on-call eight-hour shifts in Gibsons. You will support site safety through patrols, inspections, incident response, radio communication, and accurate reporting. Public assistance and de-escalation are central to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safety for passengers, employees, and members of the public
- Conduct patrols, security checks, inspections, and lock-up procedures
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and operational concerns
- Provide public assistance, direction, and customer service




- Report hazards and complete accurate incident documentation

Requirements:

- Valid British Columbia Security Worker License
- OFA Intermediate certification, also known as OFA 2
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
- Comfort using radios and other security equipment
- Flexible casual availability for varying shifts and weather conditions
