The Automation Specialist supports automated industrial controls and equipment throughout the facility. You will troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems while maintaining production and facility support equipment. The work includes approved program modifications, preventive maintenance, backups, documentation, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot HMI, PLC, Remote IO, VFD, and network issues
- Interpret electrical and control diagrams with field-device expertise
- Maintain FactoryTalk Asset Centre and manual equipment backups
- Modify PLC, HMI,



and SCADA programs as approved
- Support MES, plant networks, and process-control systems

Requirements:

- Diploma in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, or equivalent
- Two to three years of hands-on automation experience
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required
