Some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes may be necessary in accordance with job requirements.Job Description:Prepare and conduct fitness classesSet up/take down of equipment as required to conduct classesMaintain accurate attendance recordsComplete pertinent formsAttend staff meetingsPromote division health and wellness programsPerform other related duties as assignedSkills/Education Required:Minimum Can-Fit-Pro FIS current certification or equivalentExperience instructing a variety of "styles" of fitness classes (step, hi/low, muscle conditioning, stretch/relaxation, cycle etc.)Previous experience in recreation and/or fitness environmentCurrent Standard First Aid and CPRDemonstrated customer service, interpersonal and leadership skillsFor skills specific trainers, specific certifications are requiredDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, the internet and other related softwareUpon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, will be requiredApplicants must be prepared for skill testing.#J-18808-Ljbffr
