The Estimator creates damage appraisals, coordinates customer repair needs, and communicates with customers and insurance companies throughout repairs. This role requires repair and original equipment guidelines knowledge, basic computer skills, and insurance program understanding. Estimators also support facility performance through aligned teamwork and key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate estimates documenting repairs and replacement parts
- Update customers and insurance companies throughout repairs
- Document every customer interaction with pertinent details
- Coordinate customer requests with appropriate team members
- Maintain store key performance indicators through role performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of repairs and original equipment guidelines
- Basic computer skills and answer-finding awareness
- Minimum one year compliance experience for direct repair programs
- Willingness to complete I-CAR training and valid driver's license
