Lead The Beer Store’s North York retail team with operational accountability, employee coaching, and customer service leadership. This is a full-time opportunity.

As Retail Store Manager, you will report to the District Manager and support daily operations at the St. Clair Avenue store. The position requires retail operations experience, sound decision-making, and flexibility across varied shifts. You will balance team leadership, store performance, safety compliance, inventory, scheduling, and customer expectations. Experience in a unionized setting and with The Beer Store is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily store operations alongside the retail team
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees
- Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and inventory levels
- Maintain safety, audit,



regulatory, and social responsibility compliance
- Oversee deposit returns, recyclables, signage, and displays

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Three to five years of retail operations experience
- Retail supervisory or managerial experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and varied shifts
