At WesTower Communications Ltd., the Top Hand supervises crew members and supports the Crew Lead. The work includes reviewing construction scopes, teaching less experienced team members, and overseeing job preparation. Candidates should understand wireless construction, rigging, cranes, and cellular systems, including TELUS, Bell, Rogers, or Freedom.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review construction drawings and work scope with the Crew Lead
- Supervise, direct, and teach crew members during work
- Verify materials, tools, equipment, and vehicle supplies
- Inspect fall arrest systems before climbing
- Report safety concerns and scope deviations to leadership

Requirements:

- Four years of wireless construction and tool manipulation knowledge
- Rigging and crane experience
- Ability to interpret engineered, fiber, and DC drawings
- Comfort working at heights and outdoors in all weather
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and authorization to work
