This fixed-term maternity cover contract suits an experienced Senior or Healthcare Assistant ready to lead. You will coordinate shifts, mentor colleagues, support care plans, and monitor residents’ wellbeing. The role requires elderly care experience, communication, and safeguarding awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate Care Assistants during night shifts
- Administer and audit medication safely
- Support care planning, reviews, and risk assessments
- Monitor wellbeing and escalate concerns appropriately
- Mentor team members and maintain CQC standards

Requirements:

- Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or progress
- Minimum two years’ experience in the care sector
- Experience administering medication and assessing care needs
- Leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding, person-centred care, and CQC standards
