Use mechanical troubleshooting expertise at Saputo’s Edmonton plant as an Industrial Millwright on a 12-hour rotating schedule. Support reliable 24/7 dairy production.

This Millwright position maintains and installs mechanical systems within Saputo Dairy Products Edmonton Plant. You will work with conveyors, bottling and packaging lines, motors, gearboxes, homogenizers, heat exchangers, and automated equipment. The role requires technical drawing interpretation, preventative maintenance, accurate records, and strong safety awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain mechanical systems throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment
- Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings




- Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain service records
- Follow OH&S;, WCB, GMP, and Food Safety requirements

Requirements:

- Millwright or Journeyman Certificate
- Three years’ food processing experience considered an asset
- Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- UNIFOR Local 445 membership or membership within 30 days
