Maintain Enbridge’s natural gas turbines and compressor sets as a Plant Mechanic in Parkway West, Ontario. Apply mechanical troubleshooting and critical thinking daily.

This regular full-time, unionized Plant Mechanic supports Enbridge’s Storage and Transmission Operations. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair turbines, compressors, hydraulic valves, and ancillary plant equipment. The work supports protected, reliable natural gas transportation through the Dawn-Parkway System. Daily assignments use a Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair natural gas turbines and compressor sets up to 44,000 horsepower
- Maintain hydraulic-operated valves up to 48 inches diameter
- Troubleshoot ancillary compressors, generators, boilers, and fire systems
- Participate in safety talks and communication meetings
- Perform construction oversight and restore equipment safely

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education or proven equivalent
- Class G driver’s license and suitable driving record
- Mechanical, mathematical, and technical application aptitude
- Willingness to work days or shifts as needed
- Industrial Millwright or Mechanic certificate preferred
