About the Role

Our client, a dual-career couple in Kimberley, Northern Cape , is seeking a proactive and organized Nanny/Housekeeper to manage their household and provide exceptional care for their two school-aged children. This hybrid role involves significant time in the family home for childcare and domestic duties, with potential for remote management of household inventories or online shopping coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring a well-maintained home environment and supporting the children's daily routines, homework, and extracurricular activities. We are looking for an individual who is effective, trustworthy, and passionate about creating a warm and functional living space for the family in Kimberley . This position requires a blend of childcare expertise and household management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive childcare before and after school, including supervision, homework assistance, and meal preparation.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and support their social and emotional development.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the household, including tidying, vacuuming, and laundry.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and kitchen upkeep.
- Plan and prepare healthy family meals.
- Manage household supplies and grocery shopping.




- Occasional remote support for online ordering or inventory management.
- Transport children to and from school or activities as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding household matters and children's progress.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper is essential.
- Proven ability to manage household tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience with school-aged children, including homework assistance.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a good work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks within a hybrid structure.
- Knowledge of nutritional meal planning is beneficial.
