The Health and Safety Specialist supports supervisory, management, and operations leadership teams. You will implement policies, procedures, and programs while applying the 4 A’s: assess, analyze, audit, and assist. The work includes mining operations support, customer partnerships, and safeguarding personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct site visits and audits for regulatory compliance
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions
- Implement health and safety programs and training
- Analyze safety data and prepare management reports
- Represent Toromont Cat with authorities and industry groups

Requirements:

- Post-secondary health and safety certificate, degree, or diploma
- Minimum three years’ occupational health and safety experience
- Knowledge of Canadian legislation and compensation boards
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
