Keep designated building areas clean with vacuuming, mopping, and restroom fixture care as a Light Duty Cleaner. Support sanitary, orderly common spaces through dependable custodial work.
As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will perform general custodial requirements and related assigned duties. Your work includes operating cleaning equipment, spot cleaning, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying waste receptacles, and maintaining common areas. You will also restock dispensers and complete equipment checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean designated building areas through dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Perform general custodial duties and related assigned tasks
- Restock soap, towels, tissue, and sanitary napkin dispensers
- Complete periodic checks of cleaning equipment
- Observe health and safety procedures and policies
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Use cleaning equipment, including an I-mop and vacuum
- Remain reliable, motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to assist
- Physically able to carry out position duties
