Protect the Jewish Community Campus of Ottawa overnight through camera surveillance, access control, and calm emergency response. This is part-time work.
As a Part-time Overnight Security Guard, you will support an in-house security team through patrols, incident management, and event security. The position includes consistent part time hours and/or on-call work, with responsibilities covering property protection, investigations, and Fire Safety checks. You will also provide a visible security presence while protecting assets and VIPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interior and exterior property patrols
- Control building access and monitor cameras
- Respond to emergencies and manage incidents
- Provide event security and visible protection
- Complete Fire Safety checks and investigations
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security License at hiring
- Ability to remain calm during emergencies
- Reliable, punctual, and effective in English
- Responsive, proactive approach to stressful situations
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training
