Groundworker - Deep Drainage & Ducting

Location

Monklands Project, Scotland

Duties

- Carry out deep drainage and ducting works in line with project specifications.
- Installation of drainage systems, manholes, chambers and associated infrastructure.
- Excavation, pipe laying, backfilling and reinstatement works.
- Operate plant and equipment where authorised.
- Assist with general groundworks activities as required.
- Work safely and in accordance with company procedures and site requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Follow instructions from Supervisors and Site Management.
- Attend site briefings, toolbox talks and training as required.
- Promote health, safety and environmental standards at all times.

Experience / Skills Required

- Proven experience in deep drainage and ducting works within construction or civil engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of excavation safety and underground services.




- Ability to read and work from drawings and site instructions.
- Positive understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Requirements

- Valid CSCS Card.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Previous construction site experience.
- Ability to travel to the project location.
- Dumper and/or Roller tickets desirable.
