Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems. The technician will document inspection results, report anomalies, assist technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintain the cleanliness and calibration of inspection tools. Responsibilities also include interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties effectively, conducting final inspections, and preparing finished products for shipping.

Responsibilities

- Assemble, install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and systems.
- Document inspection results and report anomalies.
- Assist technicians in troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and calibration of inspection tools.
- Interpret drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.
- Conduct final inspection and shipping of finished products.
- Assist in inspecting, testing, adjusting, and evaluating incoming electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances.

Essential Skills

- Electronics, Troubleshooting, Assembly, Production, Soldering
- 3-5+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, technician, testing, or inspection
- Documentation experience
- Experience with interpreting drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Experience in cleanroom environments
- Experience with test equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.58 - $25.58/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
