Nova Scotia Power seeks an Industrial Electrician for its Underground Team in Sackville, focused on electrical installation and troubleshooting. This is regular full-time employment.

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will maintain and repair underground plant on the Transmission/Distribution System throughout the Territory. The work includes commissioning electrical equipment, supporting emergency restoration, and participating in planned or unplanned assignments. You will work within a safety-sensitive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, commission, maintain, and repair underground electrical plant
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment across Transmission/Distribution systems
- Assist emergency and storm-related power restoration




- Travel throughout Nova Scotia and support other locations
- Follow safety and environmental management processes

Requirements:

- Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification required
- Minimum two years troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License and two years driving experience
- Ability to work at heights and within confined spaces
- Willingness to participate in training and on-call rotation
