Schlegel Villages seeks a Registered Practical Nurse to support residents through personalized care and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will administer medications and treatments, follow care plans, and report changes in resident well-being. The role also includes updating care plans, supporting transfers, and collaborating with the Neighbourhood Physician during weekly rounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Follow care plans and report resident changes
• Advocate for resident participation in care decisions
• Support resident move-ins and hospital transfers
• Update care plans after physician rounds

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Existing Heart Save Level of CPR
• Proficient communication and computer skills
• Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check and Tuberculosis screening
• Understanding of retirement and long-term care regulations
