Lead patient flow operations at Yarmouth Regional Hospital through nursing administration, staffing coordination, and safe patient care services. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Reporting to the Utilization/Patient Flow Manager, the Leader Patient Flow Operations coordinates nursing administration and hospital utilization. The position supervises nursing staff and coordinates bed utilization when hospital administration is absent. Strategic and analytical thinking supports high-quality, safe, cost-effective services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate secure, efficient patient care services within the facility
- Ensure staffing levels meet patient census requirements
- Supervise nursing staff across assigned operations




- Coordinate hospital and bed utilization activities
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and service providers

Requirements:

- Registered or eligible with Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator
- Three years medical-surgical experience or acute care equivalent
- Two years nursing management experience
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
- Leadership, planning, organization, and time management skills
