Support Junior High students with complex learning profiles as a temporary 1.0 FTE teacher in Division Schools, using relationship-based support.

This teacher supports Grades 7–9 students, including English as an Additional Language learners and students facing behavioral or mental health challenges. Working with the Complexity Team, the teacher helps create inclusive learning environments through targeted interventions and team-oriented classroom strategies. The assignment begins as soon as possible and ends June 30, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Co-plan and team-teach with classroom teachers
- Implement inclusive classroom strategies collaboratively
- Lead small-group and individualized interventions
- Use trauma-informed, strength-based student support
- Monitor and adapt student support plans

Requirements:

- Alberta teaching certification
- Experience supporting complex youth needs
- Trauma-informed and relationship-focused approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to Catholic Education
