Lead safety training in Barrie with Battlefield Equipment Rentals, using strong communication and regulatory knowledge to support safe operations across Ontario.

This full-time, permanent Health and Safety Specialist role supports Battlefield’s safety culture across the region. You will develop training plans, facilitate learning, and advise Supervisors on safety obligations. The work includes preventive programs, audits, investigations, claims management, and compliance with OHS laws, regulations, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Model protected, environmentally sound, and healthy workplace behaviours
- Develop preventive programs, policies, procedures, and OHS action plans
- Deliver training and support Supervisors with safety obligations
- Administer inspections, audits, findings,



and corrective follow-up
- Support incident reporting, investigations, claims, and Return to Work Programs

Requirements:

- At least two years’ training experience
- Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
- Knowledge of legislative and regulatory safety requirements
- Microsoft Office proficiency; Systematics experience considered an asset
- Full G Class licence with clean driver’s abstract
