Operate recreation facilities with ice maintenance expertise at Strathcona County’s Alberta arenas, supporting safe and welcoming guest experiences. Work across multiple rural recreation centres.

As an Arena Operator II, you will provide guest service while supporting inspections, facility preparation, ice maintenance, resurfacing, and events. The work includes basic ice plant operations, sport court installation, spray park monitoring, housekeeping, and emergency procedures. Leadership, organization, and conflict resolution are important.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as primary contact for arena guests
- Assist peers and resolve operational issues
- Operate ice resurfacing and maintenance equipment safely




- Prepare facilities for ice-making and sport courts
- Support bookings, events, and spray park operations

Requirements:

- High School Diploma with two years related experience
- Knowledge of ice making, maintenance, and plant operations
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Valid Alberta Class 5 licence and driver’s abstract
- Intermediate First Aid and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
