Job Title: Assistant Manager - Assurance & Tax
Location: Windsor, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $75,000-90,000

We are looking for a CPA-designated qualified with 4-5 years of experience in assurance to join our growing Windsor office as an Assistant Manager. This role is ideal for someone with a strong assurance foundation who is now looking to broaden their experience across tax, accounting, financial reporting, and advisory services.

The successful candidate will work closely with partners and clients, taking increasing responsibility for assurance and review engagements while gaining hands-on exposure to tax compliance and planning, accounting, financial reporting, and other advisory assignments.



This is an opportunity to develop into a well-rounded public practice professional rather than remaining focused exclusively on assurance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and execute assurance and review engagements from planning through completion
- Review financial statements and working papers
- Prepare and/or review corporate and personal tax returns
- Assist with tax planning and advisory engagements
- Provide accounting and financial reporting support to clients
- Communicate directly with clients and develop solid client relationships
- Review and mentor junior team members
- Assist partners with complex accounting, tax, and advisory matters
- Take an active role in the growth and development of the Windsor office

Qualifications & Experience

- 4-5 years of experience in public accounting, with a robust background in assurance
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in public practice
- Tax experience is an asset, but a willingness and interest in developing tax expertise is important
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
- Client-focused mindset and willingness to take ownership
