Drive month-end close and financial reporting as an Accountant supporting Richards Group business units from Richards Packaging. Collaborate across finance and operations.

Reporting to the VP Finance, this Accountant supports month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The position also covers internal controls, audit support, regulatory compliance, and business operations. It suits an experienced accounting skilled who partners with operational leaders and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Prepare monthly financial reports and business analyses
- Review balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly business reviews




- Coordinate audit working papers and supporting analyses

Requirements:

- Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting best practices
- Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and macros
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
