Deliver geriatric nursing care with AgeCare as a Registered Practical Nurse, guiding Personal Support Workers and monitoring resident status.

This Registered Practical Nurse provides qualified care within a residence and supports required nursing practice. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external partners, and health care teams. The role requires knowledge of long-term care nursing, applicable legislation, and College of Nurses of Ontario standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with Registered Nurses
- Liaise with physicians and external health care partners
- Notify physicians about significant resident status changes
- Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team




- Participate in shift reports and share resident updates

Requirements:

- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
- Knowledge of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal statutes
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses
