Lead commercial strategy for Sinopec Canada while applying energy-market expertise, negotiations, and economic evaluation to upstream value creation. This is a senior leadership position. The Director advances business development, commodity marketing, market access, portfolio optimization, and downstream integration. The role also oversees Mineral Land and Joint Ventures while supporting executive decisions, investment recommendations, and SIPC headquarters coordination. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and evaluate commercial and business development strategies Lead economic evaluations, scenario analysis, and business cases Improve portfolio value, commercial performance, and market access Oversee acquisition and divestment commercial evaluations Provide forward-looking market intelligence and recommendations Requirements:

Approximately 10-15 years of progressive commercial experience Solid understanding of Western Canadian energy markets Experience with commercial negotiations and economic analysis Leadership experience mentoring, coaching, or managing employees Business, Engineering, or related post-secondary education Direct Sinopec Canada’s commercial strategy through market analysis, negotiations, economic evaluation, and disciplined portfolio decision-making.
