The New Frontiers School Board seeks an attendant to assist students with schooling activities and individualized education plans. The work involves supporting personal care, supervision, student activities, and communication with teachers, parents, and designated staff. Experience with children and challenging behaviors is relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students moving between locations and vehicles
- Support eating, drinking, dressing, hygiene, and washroom needs
- Supervise recess, meals, naptime, recreation, and pool activities
- Record observations and inform designated staff about student needs




- Administer medication or first aid when required

Requirements:

- Diploma or recognized equivalent, with one year pertinent experience
- Experience working with children and special needs students
- Experience with severe challenging behaviors and non-verbal students with ASD
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
- Minimum eight-hour first aid course and six-hour refresher
