Support procurement operations at NFI Parts™ through purchase orders and supplier communication in a practical student co-op experience. Build supply chain knowledge while maintaining accurate purchasing records and order updates.

As a Category Assistant, you will support the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activities. You will enter and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system, investigate invoice discrepancies, and request supplier quotes, lead times, and availability. The work also includes tariff data, customs documentation, order follow-up, and procurement reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enter, update, and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system
- Investigate supplier invoice discrepancies with finance and suppliers
- Request supplier quotes, lead times, and product availability




- Track orders and expedite deliveries when necessary
- Maintain procurement records, documentation, and reports

Requirements:

- High School Diploma
- Enrollment in post-secondary Supply related education
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Robust organization, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail
- ERP knowledge, preferably Oracle, is an asset
