Support patient meal service at Sinai Health’s Mount Sinai Hospital using food preparation, tray delivery, and sanitation skills. This part time role serves Patient Food Services.

As a Food Service Representative, you will prepare patient menu items, snacks, and bulk supplies for unit pantries. The work includes tray assembly, meal distribution, patient-room collection, and pantry sanitation. You will follow therapeutic diet restrictions, portion controls, HACCP procedures, and WHMIS instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver meal trays, menus, and snacks to patient rooms
- Prepare and portion patient menu items and bulk supplies
- Assist with patient meal tray assembly, distribution, and pickup
- Clean unit pantries, carts, equipment, and work areas
- Wash pots and pans and work in the dish room

Requirements:

- High school diploma successfully completed
- One year of customer service experience
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours
- Ability to lift or push 25 pounds or more
- Food Handlers course and WHMIS preferred
