The Goods receipt operator manages one or more of the following activities:
- Verify that the received product complies with the ordered one.
- Check consistency between the product, delivery documentation, initial order sent to the supplier, and associated data.
- Visually check part and serial numbers as well as quantity and/or lot numbers.
- Check the general condition of the product.
- Verify the presence, accuracy, and completeness of what was ordered based on delivery documentation.
- Perform receipt recording, log necessary information, and manage parts requirements.
- Prepare the product receipt file for archiving (includes delivery documentation for said products).
