Lead perks administration and employee transitions with the Calgary Board of Education in a year-round, 35-hour-per-week supervisory position.Reporting to the Manager of HR Operations, this supervisor leads Benefits, Retirement and Employee Transition Services. The work covers perks, pensions, offboarding, compliance, governance, and employee support in a large, complex, multi-union environment. The role also serves as Acting Manager when required.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, develop, and support the Benefits and Offboarding Services teamOversee employee and retiree benefit administration, enrolments, changes, and terminationsManage retirements, resignations, layoffs, death notifications, and transitionsImplement controls, governance practices, service standards, and quality reviewsAdvise leaders,



employees, unions, providers, and external stakeholdersRequirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related disciplineFive to seven years of progressive advantages or HR operations experienceThree years of formal supervisory or leadership experienceBenefits, pensions, transitions, and operational service delivery expertiseStrong judgment, analytical, communication, and stakeholder relationship skillsApply benefits leadership, pension knowledge, and employee transition expertise to support CBE employees and retirees.
