Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach to lead our Youth Basketball Teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing training programs, fostering a positive team culture, and educating athletes on the ins and outs of basketball. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the sport, and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all skill levels.
Duties
Implement effective training programs tailored to the needs of the team as a whole.
Conduct regular practices, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all participants.
Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Organize and run practice, including warm-ups, event scheduling, and team logistics.
Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among athletes.
Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and support staff regarding team goals and individual progress.
Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques,
tournament rules, and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a youth basketball coach in a competitive level.
Strong knowledge of basketball, training methodologies, and athlete development.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate athletes effectively.
Ability to motivate and inspire individuals while promoting teamwork.
Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
