Lead capital construction procurement strategy at VCC, combining contract negotiation and supplier relationship management with cross-functional project coordination.Reporting to the Director, Procurement, this Manager oversees procurement for construction and capital projects. The role develops strategies, manages sourcing activities, and supports timely delivery within budget. As part of the Procurement leadership team, the Manager also contributes to policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee capital and construction procurement projects and deliverablesDevelop procurement plans, specifications, and project requirementsLead RFx tendering, evaluations, awards, and debriefingsNegotiate contracts and resolve procurement disputesMaintain supplier, subcontractor,



and stakeholder relationshipsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related fieldFive years’ procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experienceCapital projects and construction procurement experienceUnderstanding of contracts, procurement practices, and supply chain principlesStrong negotiation, analytical, risk assessment, and communication skillsApply capital procurement leadership, contract negotiation, and supplier management expertise to VCC construction and renewal projects.
